Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishna Academy, Nalbari is a new and distinct addition to the resources in science education rather than a mere quantitative expansion of facilities which already exists in different parts of Assam. On the 5th September 2009, on the auspicious eve of teachers day the innovative thinking of a good number of teachers and responsible citizens got ready to move forward despite obstacles and constraints which are not unusual in any enterprising organization.
