Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishna Academy, Nalbari is a new and distinct addition to the resources in science education rather than a mere quantitative expansion of facilities which already exists in different parts of Assam. On the 5th September 2009, on the auspicious eve of teachers day the innovative thinking of a good number of teachers and responsible citizens got ready to move forward despite obstacles and constraints which are not unusual in any enterprising organization.
These people assembled with unyielding sincerity, commitment, perseverance, devotion and dedication to serve honestly and to the best of their abilities to establish a science institution by the name of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the philosopher, educationist and the former president of India. They shouldered collectively the onus of nurturing the plant Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Academy, Nalbari.The teachers day celebration coincided with a step closer to the new and distinct addition to resources in quality science education which has been a long felt need.
